Meet Emara, a young Emirati girl who harnesses a special power to fight crime across the Emirates. I voiced the English version of Emara, the “female superhero who makes it her mission to fight crime on the streets of the UAE.” We recorded it over the course of 2015 and 2016 and I had such […]
Just like with any skill, in voice over, sometimes you have ‘off’ days. Maybe your reading or your timing is just not as good for one reason or another (tired, not warmed up, nervous, sick, etc). But, on the other side of that coin is that some days you are ‘on’ 🙂 Where it’s like […]
Ha! I always wondered if anyone would play with this feature beyond it’s original purpose. Glad to see someone did! This is hilarious. Enjoy!
Sooooo, it’s high time I announce that I did the name pronunciation feature for Facebook. Every single account in the US, all 162.9 million of them, has this feature available, should they want to use it. Here are the instructions to enable it on your own page. In this day and age and in my line of work, it’s common to have stretches where I am working regularly, but none of the jobs are local. I do the job, turn it in, and then the client uses it in their local market. So I never get to hear it run and I […]

I have been wanting to talk about these since I started working on them last NOVEMBER!! First of all, I’m honored to be cast in a project about Linux, and second, I was thrilled to be involved in an animated long term project like this. The copy was so fun and well written that it was easy […]
I grew up on an island. Not just any island but an island only accessible by ferry boat. The ferry systems were run with no common sense and residents were often left waiting for HOURS to catch a ferry that was only a 15 minute ride to Seattle. There was no bridge to use as […]
My father was an airline pilot for over 30 years. He stayed in hotels as often as he slept in his own bed and I remember, very vividly, the day he told me that he counts how many doors there are between his hotel room and the fire exit on that floor. He explained to […]
This was fun. I was hired by a pretty cool boutique agency in Austin called Proof Advertising. Did the session from my home studio and this time, Source Connect Now didn’t cut it. These guys are one of many studios (on the cutting edge imo) who are phasing out ISDN lines and using more […]
